Talladega Nights is a film that will have you on the verge of peeing yourself from laughter. This film is a comedy starring “Ricky Bobby” a Nascar driver better known as Will Farrell. Ricky Bobby climbs to the top of Nascar, but after a tragic accident, is faced with endless life trials which he has to overcome in order to reach his once legendary Nascar status. This 1 hour and 48 minute box office hit will surely keep you entertained. Farrell’s portrayal of a beer-chuggin’, high-speed ridin’ Nascar driver is spot on. Talladega Nights is by far one of my favorite movies. Many Film Reviewer’s also share my opinion of the film. Roger Ebert’s review on Talladega Nights is a perfect example. One of many great scene’s from Talladega Night’s is mentioned in Roger Ebert’s review, “Born in the back of a speeding chevy, to his first words “I wanna go fast.” There is a special relationship between Ricky Bobby and his best friend/partner. They have nicknamed their duo “shake” and “Bake.” This dynamic duo was also on the same race team and performed a move described in Roger Ebert’s review known as the slingshot. This move was performed by Ricky Bobby’s partner (Cal) positioning his car to help his team’s star driver (Ricky Bobby) slingshot to victory. Roger Ebert’s review on this fantastic comedy resulted in a whopping 4.5/5 star review. My personal rating would be an astounding 5/5 star review. I highly suggest that you see this movie over and over again as it never gets old and never fails to entertain.
